Taking the bus is generally not fun. I have a great bus route by my apartment that gets me to school pretty quick. However, bus arrivals are entirely unpredictable despite having a schedule which means I often wait 20 minutes for a bus that's supposed to come every 15. Over at the Sun, there is talk yet again of Translink needing more money which includes all the regular comments about how poor lazy people get cushy rides at the expense of the poor taxpayer (memo to car drivers, riding the bus could never be confused with a cushy ride, though the buses from White Rock are quite lovely if my knees weren't up my nose while riding).
Well, it's an honest quote:

"Buses are for POOR PEOPLE! people who have money drive cars and pay more in taxes and never touch buses. We need better roads, why do we care about some buses????"

Yeah, looking forward to leaving Vancouver.
