Winter and Spring in Klosters

In a few short weeks, given the low amount of snow fall and the warm winter here, Klosters has gone from winter to spring. Well, fake spring, you don't really count it to be spring around here until May. Last year it snowed six days in a row at the beginning of June.


Anyway, a few weeks later and the snow is slowly disappearing, we helped it along at our house with some shovelling. I'm sure it will be back though. While it was gone we took advantage of the warm weather and started our garden project. The idea is to make use of a solar panel that we have and to figure out the electronics and power and make a self-watering system controlled by arduino. I'm hoping the plants will make it look less ugly, but time will tell....
